TOO FACED BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION REVIEW

Hello everyoooone and welcome back to my blog!

It’s been 2 weeks since my last post and I thought, hmm, it’s probably time to do another one before the procrastination fairy arrives. So today I’m going to share with you my review of the Too Faced BORN THIS WAY foundation.

Please continue reading if you’d like to know how well this foundation does!

“Born This Way is an oil-free foundation that masterfully diffuses the line between makeup and skin. For coverage so undetectable, you can’t see the makeup and you can’t see imperfections—all that’s left is naturally radiant skin that looks like you were Born This Way”                                                                                                                                                                 ~TooFaced~

Foundation comes in 18 different shades and mine is in vanilla. It retails for SG$61 at sephora.

I’ve applied sunscreen and MUFE STEP 1 primer as always

There really isn’t much of a difference between the beauty blender and brush side. But, if you have dry skin and want to achieve a full coverage application, I suggest applying with a brush first, then going over with a sponge to make sure everything is smooth and seamless.

Powder side is slightly matte. No significant difference on both sides. This shade is a tad too light for me and in flash photo you can totally tell.

But in natural light, it looks like a really good match.

Other than my mascara smudging, I think my face still looks presentable 7 hours after application and after the gym. Good job too faced!

Verdict: 8/10

I do think this foundation has undetectable coverage to a certain extent. I mean, no matter how natural a foundation is, if you’re going to apply tons and tons of layers, eventually it’s going to be cakey. But for 2 layers, this foundation gives a medium to full coverage and still looks like your skin but oh-so-much better. It lasted for a good amount of time on me and  withstood sweat and humidity. If you live in Singapore, something that lasts through sweat and humidity is a plus! Also, there was no transfer when I patted my face, powder side, with a tissue after hitting the gym. So you want to make sure to set this foundation. I give this an 8/10 simply because I still haven’t found the perfect foundation yet. I’m saving those 9 & 10/10s for a foundation that is really REALLY amazing, the kind that’ll blow your mind lol. Nevertheless! 8/10 is a pretty damn good rating already!

Would I ever re-purchase: YES DEFINITELY!
